Cute monkeys are everywhere on Oahu. The tufted great apes are ubiquitous - the little malnourished ones leap and swim in the ocean, while the big fat ones lie beached on the shore. In the trees, however, other species can be found:

Yebbut it all raises the question of how many years (or generations) of residence qualifies one as a native. In the USA, 2nd generation immigrants seem to count. In Japan, you will still be a foreigner if your great-great-grandparents came over a century ago :-)
