If I have seen further than others, it is by treading on the toes of giants
Transparent plastic instead?
Umm, no "Windows" with these Apple fan-boiz? ;-)
Caption competition, people!______________________________"I see my mistake. I haven't been holding my little finger up."
Judging by the Greg Chappell hat Jamesis probably checking cricinfo.
Windows contained only air, and the occasional bird. This is how things should be, as there is nothing better than sunshine and fresh air for keeping alert those with jet lag.Funny thing about the Apple Microsoft situation was that the people presenting at the workshop almost all had Apples, but they were collating slides from others who invariably provided Powerpoint, and so events were littered with things being lost in conversion. Of course such things just make us brainwashed Apple owners smile smugly. As he was about to start his talk, James would almost certainly have been checking cricinfo at that very moment, if not for the fact that Gavin made the workshop a wifi-free zone! That left us foreigners in the dark, but of course all the Americans were still emailing away on their phones. They are addicted to the internetosphere!
trying to start the new EGU blog http://blog.eag.eu.com/
Andrew, as it happens, I did buy a Greg Chappell hat on a previous trip to a minor Pacific island - but it was lost some time ago. I'm sure most of my discerning readers will have readily identified the Tilley that took its place :-)Magnus, surely that is not EGU, it is EAG (whoever they are...)
