A liccle twit, spotted by Helen on the way down the mountain.
Is that the same, or related to, the coal tit (http://www.rspb.org.uk/wildlife/birdguide/name/c/coaltit/index.aspx)?A couple of coal tits are the main regulars on our garden feeder.
It is a coal tit (Parus ater) subspecies P. a. insularisChris S.

Erm, whoops. Sorry, missed that....and I'll forget to mention the really embarrassing fact about my comment. I'll assume I was reading in a hurry. :/It is interesting though, as I often forget how widely some of these "UK" species are. It shouldn't be surprising - esp. with birds.
