We spent the day in The Tanzawa-Oyama Quasi-National Park, climbing To-no-take. We were surprised to get very close to some deer - there is always evidence of them, but they are usually shy. These were obviously accustomed to the crowds.
It being rainy season, the views were spectacular. Here is jules on the summit, with Fuji-san in the background. It was very different last time we were here, in the middle of February a few years ago.
