A cute pub, originally uploaded by julesberry2001.

A cute pub near Cambridge that we passed many times on our morning cycle rides. Not missing the British Beer yet. We drank so much. So much that even William Stoat was impressed. However, I think he didn't spot the "trick" which enables this 5.5 foot weakling to down 4 pints a night.

On the wagon now. Last drink was the Premium Economy perk, Baileys, somewhere over Russia.

How did premium compare to the origami seats? I'm only about 1.93m, so economy isn't impossible, but I don't fold as well as I did in my youth.

Oh, they are quite a lot better. Mind you I usually get one of the exit rows anyway. This time we went for premium as the price difference was a remarkably low ¥5,000 and we got extra baggage allowance too (useful with a 2 month trip and a tandem to pack).

Mind you we don't know if we'll get the fares back yet...I was banking on it being better to ask forgiveness than permission, so have only just submitted the claim!

Hardwick? You've caerfully chopped all location information. Aha, gotcha: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Hardwick23.sized.jpg

ps: yet more proof that I am mega-famous: http://scienceblogs.com/stoat/2010/10/who_ya_gonna_read.php

Gnash your teeth now :-)

By Jove I think he's got it.

But clearly Nature have lost it :-)

Maybe they are trying to talk down blogs since theirs has been such a dismal failure.

The old hollow leg ploy, eh, Jules?

Actually it's not so much the drinking of 4 pints that would be amazing, it's the retention of clarity about the difference between horizontal and vertical in the immediate aftermath.

But I'm sure you managed famously. Had it been infamously, no doubt Stoat would have already blatted it all over the 'toobs. :)

This looks to be such a rollicking success that doubtless very soon it'll be made mandatory for all Japanese civil servants.

Yes I was fine, just slightly tired the next dat from the late night. Curiously James was somewhat less sprightly.

On the farming issue, we already do that at RIGC - in the gardening club. Nuturing vegetables is so much more constructive than beating yourself over the head with a broken GCM.

Hey, what happened to "More Curried leftovers". That sounded promising. And might well spare me from expending some of my carefully hoarded stock of vitriol.

it's coming....just hit the wrong key too soon...
