..sorry about the cliche - been under the weather today.. but I have discovered empirically that Pocari Sweat is awfully good for alleviating gastroenteritis.

    I worked in Japan for a month some years ago, in Hiroshima, at the Hiroshima City University.

    Loved it. I really enjoy all the Japan stories you have to tell here along with the climate stuff which brought me here in the first place.

    Pocari Sweat was a revelation. What a fabulous name for a drink.

    And of course, let's remember that the Japanese are probably laughing at us for the way we respond to this English translation of what is a perfectly reasonable name for a drink to help restore the fluids lost when exercising.
