I have a colleague in the Netherlands who wears garish greens and oranges. We Americans are always properly aghast.

Jules --- thanks for the tip! I thought I'd have to mug him at the next AGU for it. This sounds much easier and less likely for me to end up with "shower buddies." ;-)

I showed my wife Nita the fluffy hoodie that you had on your blog, she and I both really liked it.Carrickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03476050886656768837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9959776.post-27250869074022913912012-07-15T00:38:53.768+01:002012-07-15T00:38:53.768+01:00Hance...hmmm.....we have always though Japan was y...Hance...hmmm.....we have always though Japan was years ahead in technological fashion but some way behind sartorially (not to mention socially). Which painfully reminds me that stitchin' certainly makes me value clothes much more - they take so long to make. If I was paid the same per hour as I am for climate science they'd cost thousands (of USD, not just yen!). Presently I am stitchin' yet another fluffy hoodie for a friend who foolishly requested one. He lives in Colorado, so I hope he won't sue me when he finds out it isn't fire proof. Mind you, if he house burns down, I guess he'll be glad to have it ftp keep him warm in the winter.juleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02591920483149775255noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9959776.post-69960122934650826992012-07-14T06:11:06.457+01:002012-07-14T06:11:06.457+01:00pfttt. unflubbed link
