This is a funny video blog which I've recently discovered: Yamato Damacy. It seems to mostly consist of a couple of (foreign) guys who live in Japan, going out and accosting strangers to "interview" or proposition in an exploration of quintessentially Japanese tradition. They produce a new "vodcast" (ugly word) every week.
In case you are puzzled as to the purpose of the linked episode (my favourite), it was filmed on a Japanese festival in which people traditionally throw dried beans in order to ward off evil spirits.
